After Liberty Fairs trade show, we visited in Brooklyn area.
It snowed in NYC again… we could not see the other side of East River.
While hanging around the area, it would be possible to see some graffiti arts.
That’s our favorite point in Brooklyn area.
One of the reason that we’ve been to Brooklyn area is visiting in Hickoree’s store.
109 S. 6th Street
Brooklyn, NY 11211
Actually we know each other since their arranging Roberu leather items 2 years ago.
They arrange Roberu items : iPhone leather cases, leather wallets, leather bracelets etc…
Moreover their original selected items are so nice, especially their exclusive items made in the USA and Japan are fantastic.
After Hickoree’s store, we had a small break in order to have a late lunch at the bistro of 1st floor Hickoree’s bldg.
We had a comfortable time and delicious brunch there.
Thank you Hickoree’s and Brooklyn.
Great to meet you guys.
I’ve been to Berlin on last July for visiting Bread & Butter summer 2013.
It’s a huge trade show, and it was a great experience for me and pipperoo.
They arrange the concept room for Japan made brands, and most of famous Japanese denim brands and great leather brands took part in there.
Some good friends come there too.
For example, I have a reunion The Heritage Post from Uwe Van Afferden.
They always write great articles and nice photos on the Heritage Post magazine.
New issue is here.
Last year they come to Tokyo, and around 2 years ago come to Roberu workshop for shooting.
Thanks a lot!
And her too.
Here is the old airport site, so huge place.
And a lot of brand get together there from all over the world.
Looking forward to seeing you guys there again soon!
One of my favorite bookstore is Daikanyama TSUTAYA bookstore in Tokyo.
Here a lots of magazines and books came from all over the world are available.
In addition, there are restaurants, cafe space, camera shop, bicycle store, and trimming salon for dogs.
17-5 Sarugaku-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
And, one of my favorite magazine is Obscura Magazine from Hong Kong.
The magazine usually make a feature of high-end contents (e.g. cars, fashion, cultures, and people).
Especially if you would like to know about the background of producing high quality items, I would like to recommend this magazine.
The features of back numbers are Maclaren, Alden, Tom Ford, Chanel, Undercover, Farrell Williams, NIGO, and Katsuyuki Yoshida, etc.
